Improved governance for peace-building in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Districts of Swabi and Charsadda

Sustainable Peace and Development Organization (SPADO) with the support of Small Grants and Ambassador’s Fund Program (SGAFP) launched the project on “Improved Governance for Peace-building in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa". The project which will be implemented in the districts of Swabi and Charsadda will help in creating awareness among the community regarding Right to Information Act 2013 and Right to Public Services Act 2014 being passed by the provincial assembly of KPK. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen implementation of the above mentioned acts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) for promoting peace and good governance in two target districts through:

Capacity building of Government officials and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs);
Awareness raising among citizens at large; and
Establishing Good Governance Dialogue Forums (GGDFs) for ensuring participation of the community.
